| This unit has a trailer length of 38', width 8', and stack height 13' from ground level. Heated air is provided by a
lobal air blower delivering 8500 pph at pressures up to 12 psig, or 5000 pph at pressures up to 24 psi. The blower is powered by a 125 hp motor. The air is heated up to 1200 deg. F. in a 2.9 MM btu/hr adiabatic
burner, fueled by either propane or natural gas. The vent gas is collected under negative pressure into a 8500 pph vent gas blower and directed into the thermal oxidizer, which has a rating of 3.1 MM btu/hr and
operates at 1500 deg. F. with a .6 sec. retention time. Automatic safety shutdown features are included for flame failure, high temp., hi and lo gas pressure, and low gas flow. Local flame arrestor. System is
weatherproof (NEMA 4 Weather-Tite Class) and operates from a central control panel which has a continuous graphing of temp. An auxiliary air blower, rated at 2000 pph, automatically dilutes incoming vapors if they
approach the LEL. The unit was specially designed and manufactured by AKI Industries, Houston, in late 1990. It was used on about three jobs and then mothballed in warehouse. It has approximately 37 days of full
operation behind it. The unit is in excellent condition, and is capable of running 24 hrs. per day unmanned. |
