| This is a Becker metal (whole car) shredder system with 42 tons per hour capacity. Includes Becker shredder powered by a 2000-hp, 4160 volt Fairbanks Morse electric motor; Allis Chalmers Type 456D AC contactor-disconnect; and a General Electric Model 9L8 ACG301 protective capacitor. The system has a General Electric 4160 - 480 volt step-down transformer. There is a separate hydraulic power pack for the hydraulic ram and the infeed roller drum. A Central Manufacturing steel infeed conveyor was added in 2003 and measures 84' long with an 8'-wide belt, and is driven by a 50-hp Haagglunds Tads drive train. The discharge conveyor is 6'-6" wide x 60' long, with a 60" rubber belt. Also included is a pedestal-mounted Liebherr Model E974 hydraulic articulating arm crane for easy loading. This is a one-of-a-kind, complete system, with an extra 3000-hp motor, as well as numerous extra parts and components for almost every need. |
