Vulcan Model 4222 Portable Rotary Dryer - New, 22' long x 42" diameter concurrent flow dryer. The dryer consists of a feed hopper, 22' long x 42" diameter rotary drum with flights, 2 Maxon Ovenpack burners: 1 – 3.5 MMBtu and 1 – 2.5 MMBtu, refractory lined combustion box and discharge with drop out box. The system comes complete with controls and can be trailer-mounted to make it mobile.
The dryer operates at temperatures ranging from 150 F to 500 F and is suitable for most drying applications. Excellent for drying sand, wood, grain, salts, limestone, tin, iron, copper, mineral sands, tantalite, ilmenite, wolfframite, columbite, monazite, garnet, zircone, scheelite, rutile and other metal concentrates and minerals. Drys materials for powder metallurgy (powder), coal, cokes, quicklime, sulfur, phosphor (powder), fluorescent substance (powder), cast dust, steel shot (granule) minerals, etc.
