QuestAir (Xebec) Model M 3100 Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Unit - This PSA is a skid-mounted, high-efficiency methane purification unit complete with packing, rapid cycle valves and 5 no high pressure (80-450 PSIG) vessels with packing currently configured for the separation of carbon dioxide from biogas to increase the methane (CH4) content. The unit measures 34 1/2' long x 12 1/2' wide x 13 1/2' high. The system uses an integrated rotary valve technology in lieu of conventional solenoid-actuated valves, increasing throughput. This unit will process up to 4,000 cfm.
The adsorbent packing in the unit will remove carbon dioxide from biogas to increase the methane purity and improve quality similar to natural gas. This technology can be used to provide natural gas from biogas for power generation, provide fuel to gas powered vehicles and reduce CO2 from coal-fired power plants. By changing the packing on the system, the PSA can be used for hydrogen purification and production of ammonia (NH3) in the oil and gas industries and for the removal of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) from hydrogen feed and recycling steams of hydrotreating and hydrocracking units in refineries. 2 units available. |
