This
plant consists of the following:
Shredder - BROER Model S 3536 shredder with
26.5"x37" feed opening and vertical chute;
fabricated steel housing with replaceable liners, hinged
upper housing; retractable discharge area with grate bars
for 1-½" product, others available; rotor, 35"
diameter, dynamically-balanced, with AISA 1045 shaft;
heavy-duty, double-row spherical roller bearings in split
housing with quality seals; disc-type hammer base,
shielded rotor end locking plates for hammer pin
retention; hammer pins of alloy steel, heat-treated, with
hardness and size to suite feed; 56 double-face hammers
with hard facing in wear areas. Shredder Drive -
electric 150-hp TEFC motor, motor mount, V-belts and drive
guard; sheaves for motor and machine, mounted with tapered
bushings.
Shredder Discharge - discharge hopper with steel flanges
and adjustable rubber skirting; discharge conveyor,
42" x approximately 9 feet long. Basic Frame -
straight, wide flange steel beams with cross-members and
diagonal bracing; shredder mounting base for 3-feet
clearance under discharge conveyor; walkways with railings
on all sides including access steps to shredder and
drive. Applications: wood, C&D, pallets,
brush, cardboard. |
