| Metso Holo-Flite Quadruple Processor - an indirect heat exchanger for heating, cooling and drying bulk solids, filter cakes, paste or sludges. Individual particles are heated as they come in contact with the surfaces of the hollow flights, shaft and trough. The heat transfer fluid is normally water, steam or thermal oil. The material process does not come in contact with the heat transfer medium resulting in no contamination of the product. The product to be processed is continuously conveyed in axial direction by means of the rotating screw flights along a jacketed trough. Can operate successfully up to 900 degrees F. Designed for processing various types of contaminated soil, removing and separating it from contaminants such as oil, gasoline and VOCs; drying Alumina, Carbon Black, Sodium Chloride, plastics, pesticides and Potassium Chloride; heating limestone filler, petroleum coke, Molybdenum and fine coal; drying and volume reduction of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes; cooling incinerator ash, fluidized bed boiler ash, limestone and coke from a Calciner. |
