WRS 25 tph Thermal Desorption System - NEW Worldwide Remediation Systems direct fire thermal desorption unit consisting of a feed system, 24' x 66" rotary drum as the primary desorption unit, 25 MMBtu/hr Hauck Beta burner, fabric filter baghouse with pulse jet self cleaning system, 25,000 ACFM thermal oxidizer complete with a 25 MMBtu/hr Hauck Beta burner and automated controls for easy operations. All burners come complete with fuel train for gas or diesel oil, combustion air blowers and burner control system.
The system is a continuous feed thermal desorption system designed to treat up to 25 tons per hour of contaminated soil. The soil is heated in the primary desorption unit to 750 F where the contaminants are evaporated. The gas steam containing the evaporated contaminants are pulled into the baghouse where any remaining particulates are removed. The contaminated gas stream is then pulled into an oxidizer that operates at between 1,400 - 1,800 F where organic contaminants are converted to carbon dioxide (CO2). The system is ideal for remediation projects on oil/natural gas drill cuttings, VOCs, petroleum hydrocarbons, sludge, pesticides and municipal waste. Portable and self contained on two heavy-duty trailers. 1-2 day setup time. |
